Traditional Worship Service
Sanctuary
Style
Traditional. We follow a Reformed order of worship with includes hymns, confession and pardon, reading and proclamation of the Word, and prayers.
Music
While most of our music is drawn from the classical traditions, we celebrate the diversity of music with excursions into other styles.
Sacraments
The Lord’s Supper is normally celebrated on the first Sunday of each month.
Baptism (for infant, youth or adult) can be scheduled for any other Sunday of the month.
Children in Worship
Worship Kits are available for those in the sanctuary. A Time with the Children is a part of the service each Sunday.
Accessibility
An ASL interpreter is provided during the 11:00 a.m. worship service every week. Worship materials in Braille are available by request.
* During the summer months (June – August) there is ONE Traditional Service at 10:00 a.m.; no Sunday School hour.
Worship Hospitality
Usher/Greeter Sign Up
Use the link below to let us know when you’d like to be part of the usher greeter team. For example, if you enjoy serving once a month, choose those Sundays and let us know. This is a great tool also for groups who want to usher together. The Usher Captain will be in touch to remind you of your upcoming service. There will also be a master calendar in the narthex, available for your reference. Changes can be made through the office. Thank you for your gracious hospitality.
Special Worship Services
Our worship life is enhanced by special seasonal worship services, including Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday and Good Friday.
Livestreaming
The Traditional service at 11:00 is live streamed each week, and available to watch anytime thereafter.
Joining
Nonmembers are invited to join the church at the close of the service each week.
Childcare
Childcare is provided for ages birth through kindergarten for all worship services.
What to Expect
As promised in our Statement of Welcome, all are invited to join us in worship.
Guests will find a Welcome Center in the front entrance to the church, where your questions can be answered.
Visitors will not be singled out. We do ask that all in attendance provide name and contact information, so that we can acknowledge your visit.
Sunday School classes are available for all ages from September through May; class time is 9:50 a.m. – 10:45 a.m.
