Our congregation is fortunate to be welcoming The Rev. Dr. Randy Hyde back onto our staff—this time as Interim Pastor/Head of Staff. Randy was a long-time pastor of Pulaski Heights Baptist Church here in Little Rock, and he recently finished serving as Interim Executive Coordinator of the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship in Arkansas and as Interim Head of Staff at First Baptist Church in Memphis. Many of you may also remember that he served as Interim Associate Pastor for Congregational Nurture here at Second Pres five years ago, and he was much beloved by our church members and staff alike.
The plan is for Randy to serve as interim Head of Staff here until our new long-term pastor arrives, and we are looking forward to sharing in ministry with Randy once again. Randy’s first Sunday in worship leadership will be this coming Sunday, February 5. We know you will give him a warm welcome!
