Psalm 16

“Therefore my heart is glad, and my soul rejoices; my body also rests secure. For you do not give me up to Sheol, or let your faithful one see the Pit.”

Invitation:

“My body also rests secure.” Our relationship with God is not only spiritual, but also physical, not only with our souls, but with our bodies. God’s salvation is aimed at the whole creation. As you go about your day, identify parts of creation that are subject to God’s plan for salvation.

Invitation:

What wisdom have you gained from music? Listen to songs that teach this week as we round the corner of our summer. If you need examples, check out our psalms playlist for the new songs added.

Psalm 1

“They are like trees planted by streams of water, which yield their fruit in its season…”
